How a Glow Post works

Secure it in the ground.
That's it.
Enjoy.

Stake it

Push the included ground stake into the lawn, garden bed, or planter and set the post on top. No tools, no wiring, no outlet.

Let the sun work

The solar panel in the cap charges the built-in battery all day, rain or shine.

Watch it turn on

At dusk, 40 LEDs light the team panel from the inside. It shuts off on its own in the morning and does it again tomorrow.

Questions

When will I get it?

Right away. The Western Dubuque posts are in stock at Man Cave Cut Shop in Peosta. Pick yours up free at the shop, or choose local delivery within 20 miles of Peosta for $15 at checkout. You'll get an email as soon as your order is ready.

How does it charge?

A solar panel in the cap charges the built-in battery during the day. It works in cloudy weather too, though a full sunny day gives the longest glow. Place it where it gets direct sun for at least a few hours. A full charge gives up to eight hours of light.

Can it stay outside all year?

It's built for outdoor use in yards, planters and entryways. Like any solar light, bringing it in during ice storms or heavy snow will extend its life.

Does it have to go in the ground?

The post stands on its own indoors or in a sheltered spot. Outdoors, use the included ground stake so wind cannot tip it over.

Do you ship?

Not for this release. Western Dubuque posts are picked up free at Man Cave Cut Shop, 8554 Kapp Drive #13 in Peosta (behind and under the post office), or delivered within 20 miles of Peosta for $15. If you're out of town and want one, use the request page and we'll let you know when shipping opens.

Is FanPillar affiliated with the school?

No. FanPillar is an independent Iowa company and this is a direct FanPillar retail offering. It is not operated by the school, a PTO, a booster club, a student council or any other organization, and no organization receives proceeds from these sales. Groups interested in running a future FanPillar fundraiser for their own school can read about it on the Fundraising page.
